CIRCULARITY OF REGIONAL FASHION - textile meetup

We would like to invite students to apply and participate in the CIRCULARITY OF REGIONAL FASHION Erasmus+ BIP program, which is a cooperation between AMD Berlin (Germany), METU (Hungary) and Sapientia EMTE (Romania). Each participating university will select 9-9 students representing their sending institution. Selected participants will get 3 microcredits in the end of the program.

Schedule:
25-28th March 2024 - online workshops + meetings
6-10 May 2024 - workshops in Budapest
APPLICATION DEADLINE: 10 MARCH 2024
Location: Budapest, METU Infopark
Focus:
The main aim of the cooperation is to understand the upcoming changes in the EU that will affect the textile and fashion industry. The EU Textile Strategy and its changes will serve as a pilot and a model for all other sectors of the design industry. We will look at local case studies, understand the changes in legislation, communication and fashion production and try to map out the ideal ways of working in the fashion/textile SME sector in the near future.

Goals:
This knowledge and methods can be developed further via upcoming meetings and can be implemented into local fashion business cases or in academic courses as well.

Participants / How to Apply:
Ideally, we would like to involve students from fashion design, textile design, sustainability studies, communication, (fashion) business, fashion management, BA or MA level.
