What is it like to study abroad at METU – from a student’s experience
What is METU like?
“It is one of the largest private universities. It is a cultural hub. There are many different people from different cultures. METU offers many courses in English language.
I applied to METU because the university creates a learning atmosphere where faculty, staff, and students can discover, critically explore, converse and spread information, wisdom, and values that will help ensure the survival of this and future generations while also improving quality of life for everyone.”

“There are several reasons why I would like to recommend METU, but my favorite one is a training called myBRAND.
myBRAND is a unique portfolio-based training method, which was launched as the first of its kind in the country. I loved it a lot, as these techniques help you figure out who you are beyond your degree, what abilities and virtues you have, and offers you an advantage in the job market. These skills cannot be learned overnight, but there are a variety of training programs available to assist us in developing these.”
